A timeless classic by the legendary playwright Molière, updated by Martin Holt, and our talented cast is ready to breathe new life into this beloved farce. Set in a whimsical world of hypochondria, the play revolves around the antics of Argan, a man who believes he’s perpetually ill and the medical bills keep piling up. He wants his daughter, Angelique, to marry a young doctor so he can get all of his medical treatment for free. Angelique is in love with someone else, Cleante, and refuses to marry the doctor. Cleante, Toinette the maid, and Argan’s brother Beralde all try to convince Argan to let Angelique marry Cleante with side-splitting humor as Argan’s self-diagnosed ailments lead to absurd treatments and doctor visits that are as comical as they are outrageous.

Vendors, Demonstrators, and Activity Hosts Wanted!
Vendors and activity hosts are invited to set up “stalls” (tables and booths) to sell items or host activities, preferably with a Medieval, Renaissance, or Elizabethan aesthetic. Vendors are encouraged to dress in period costumes and decorate their stalls with these themes in mind.
